The more complicated something is, the more opportunity for error.
I am right there, underneath your skin.
Do you feel me, like bugs crawling all over?
Do you feel me, like that Fear of Death?
I guard the door
Are you ready to move?
To peel back your skin, and squash the flea?
Can you stop with all the accessories and unnecessary noise? This is the source of much of your confusion. Clear the channel, clean the river. Find what's yours and claim it. Seek what's important and give away the rest. You know who you are.

Oh shit. This is TARGETED. One of the first stuck-in-my-head concepts I got this year (before realizing I was being called) was the notion that "Hell is Noise," postulated by C.S. Lewis in The Screwtape Letters. Pollution (specifically to do with rivers!) and "use what you have"/"dig deep"/"stop seeking" have also been absolutely constant. These have come mostly, I think, from Nemain and The Badb. Thanks, Izzi. Thank you, Great Queen.
